Why take the听CNC Basics Training: Operation and Set-up听course?听
CNC Basics听is a 6-week introductory course that teaches beginners how to safely set up and听operate听CNC milling machines and lathes. Students will develop comprehensive skills, from basic safety protocols to advanced machine operation.听This course prepares students听for entry-level CNC machinist positions with emphasis on safety, precision, and industry best practices.听

Individuals听new to CNC听machining听or manufacturing. Or听employers looking听for an introduction to听CNC machining听for new employees or to upskill听existing听employees.听

Week 2:听Basic Machining Vocabulary and Machine Tool Math听
Week 3:听Intro to Metrology / Basic Blueprint Reading and Understanding Tolerances听

Week 5:听Using CNC Controls / Setting Up the Machine听
Week 6:听Coolant / Problem Solving听
